For the last 8 years, I've worked on building legitimacy for Black Triangle products-namely the G10 knife line. The most asked question I get from end users is, "how do I use this?"....Beginning in August, I intend on embarking on a journey to answer this question. 

Black Triangle Fight Club is a martial arts school in Chesapeake, Virginia. Co-located with Black Triangle headquarters, the physical location will host instruction in striking and grappling/weapons-based grappling by our in-house instructors, with guest instruction from time-to-time.

Weapons-based grappling will build primarily on defensive tactics against a knife attack and then transition to offensive techniques. We feel that learning defense forms a solid foundation when using the knife in an offensive capacity. In our WBG classes, we encourage students to wear CLEAN clothing that they might wear in the street. Wrestling shoes are permitted and encouraged.

Striking class takes a boxing and kickboxing approach to unarmed combat. The student will learn and expound upon the basics of striking. Emphasizing footwork and body position, the student will learn to manage distance and violence through the punches, elbow strikes, kicks and knee strikes. Students may wear clean gym clothing and boxing/wrestling shoes if they choose. Students are encouraged to bring their own gloves, but we do have gloves, mitts and Thai pads available.

The first class at Black Triangle Fight Club is 9am on Sunday August 3rd. You may drop in to try us out or begin your membership at your first class.
