Well, unlike other defensive weapons, I can't exactly try this out at the range, or practice with it at the gym. However, I can certainly tell you this is heftier than I thought and will certainly stop someone in their tracks if I am forced to use it. I have already recommended it to a friend who is too young to buy other self-defense weapons as a means of self-defense and will certainly buy one in the future for my daughter.
